SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY SEMINAR SERIES – “SELF-PROTECTION SKILLS ON THE INTERNET”

42Following the series of companion programs on Life skills, on October 30, the Institute of Psychological Research, Training, and Application (IPRTA) cooperated with Tuoi Tre newspaper to organize a seminar at Binh Phu High School, District 06.

The seminar “Self-protection skills on the Internet” was conducted under the guidance of Master Huynh Tran Hoai Duc, a Life Skills training expert at IPRTA. In this workshop, we have successfully implemented and provided the most basic instructions, helping students develop their ability to protect themselves, awareness of their surroundings, especially in cyberspace. From here, we also relate knowledge through very real stories, to help students develop appropriate reflective thinking ability and safety when using social networks. After the workshop, we hope that our students will be ready to explore the world within safe limits, providing a foundation for them to confidently participate in real social life.

IPRTA wishes to accompany and join hands to develop School Psychology with other schools in a series of programs to equip life skills and health care for primary, secondary and high school students for a healthy and developing young generation in Vietnam.
